The Merge Gaming poker network is the result of the old Poker.com card room closing their doors and selling their domain to another company. After they re branded themselves as Carbon Poker they started selling licenses to anyone with enough money and the Merge Gaming network was born. 40 other rooms have been added in the last couple years and for a majority of them its just the same product in a different package. There are some exceptions though, there are a few rooms that have risen above the rest and are really making name for themselves in this industry. It all boils down to management. Some rooms are actual companies that put forth effort to make your experience with them excellent.

Other rooms are operated by 1-2 people and offer virtually nothing other than the standard network bonuses (some don’t even offer that much). The Merge Gaming Network has always been the perfect room for beginner poker players. They are open to U.S. players, offer a lot of freerolls, superb and constantly updated promotions and great support. This online poker network has always struggled with traffic though. Launching all of these new skins have not helped them even slightly traffic wise. This is because the network as a whole has terrible player retention. This is due to several factors but the software is not one of them.

The software used by the Merge Gaming Network is without a doubt the most unique in the industry. There are so many unique features (features the average player actually uses and loves) that its like playing at a poker room from the future.

Best Merge Gaming Network Rooms

The Merge Gaming Network has plenty of rooms that provide solid support, promotions, bonuses and security. If I had to choose one I would pick Aced, one of the newer rooms but best managed. They offer a 100% bonus up to $500 along with plenty of new player and new depositor freerolls. I’m only providing reviews for 1 room/network on this web site but I have reviews of other great Merge skins on other sites. I will link to those below. For more info on Aced, read our Aced Poker Review.

Merge Gaming Network Software

The Merge Gaming software is very “fun” and highly functional. Usually when rooms offer a load of unique features the software tends to be slow and laggy, this is not the case with Merge. They offer the widest variety of games in the poker industry including Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo, Razz, 5 Card Stud, 5 Card Draw, Triple Draw, Badugi and the HORSE Poker variations. You can also play casino games at a majority of the Merge Network skins from within the poker platform. These games include video poker, Roulette, Blackjack, Caribbean Stud, Backgammon and Euchre.

Merge Poker Network Security & Stability

The network as a whole has a clean record in the poker industry. There are a lot of newer rooms on this network that are unknown in the online poker world so it is best to use caution if you stray away from the main rooms.
